Montana is our German Shorthaired Pointer. We were inspired to get him after seeing the beautiful Olive on a bottle of your fine brew several years ago. Montana loves to run, but also loves to enjoy the beer dripping out of a bottle of a freshly poured Smuttynose ale. Emma and Teddy are sister and brother from the same litter. Born in Leeds, ME, they have lived in Maine all of their (almost) 9 years. They have the run of the house and love to take off on their own and explore the 55 acres of fields and woods they live on. Occasionally they have a run-in with a porcupine or skunk, but otherwise, what a life they live! They are constant companions and over the years have met lots of folks in the Seacoast, through the privilege of going to work with their owner. This picture was taken earlier this summer after they received their first-ever summer haircuts!

Hi Peter,

My brown dog's name is Mocha, and she's a 5 year old chocolate lab. Mocha thinks she is a small dog, and likes to curl up in a very small ball trying to prove it. After a hard day's work chasing the groundhog that lives under our shed, Mocha likes to relax with a Smuttynose Summer Weizen. Well, okay, it's me that likes that second part! Keep up the good work!

Hello Peter!  My name is Mason (I'm the tall beautiful one on the left) and the little guy with me is my brother Johnnie Walker.  This picture was taken during one of our fun runs in Blount Park, Montgomery, Alabama.  I'm actually from southern California, J. Dubbs (Johnnie Walker) is from Texas but our parents are both from New Hampshire and we absolutely love the Granite State.  I spent last summer on Lake Winnipesaukee and we all celebrated Christmas in New England last year.  Anyhow, I noticed your Brown Dog Ale beverage ad last summer and I wanted to say you have a good looking dog there.  My parents must also enjoy looking at that gorgeous dog too because they buy lots Brown Dog Ale.

This is our Brown Dog... Morgan is a 4-year old lurcher (greyhound/lab mix) whom we met at a shelter in Princeton a few years ago. Her turn-ons: salmon leftovers, chasing critters, and a comfy spot in bed. Turn-offs: bags blowing in the wind, spooky noises, and an empty beer fridge. So neither of these is really an old brown dog, but they are both beer fans!
 
Sadie (the blue Great Dane): She's not old, nor is she brown, but at least she's a dog!  Her first taste of beer was spilled from my pint of IPA last summer when she was a mere 12 weeks old.  Now that she's 32" at the shoulders and can rest her head on the kitchen counter, we have to be careful where we leave open bottles!
 
Buddy: He's oldish (8 ? years) and brownish, but we're pretty sure he's a cat.  However, since he acts like a dog (plays fetch, likes bellyrubs) and sounds like a seal (barks and arf-arfs, no meows), we figured he'd make a good pinup for either Old Brown Dog or Smuttynose.  Besides, what goes better with pizza than a nice, cold beer?

Well, here is my wonderful dog. Sadly, the timing of the SuperBowl hopes being dashed away this past weekend are on our minds-oh well, we'll just have to have an extra Old Brown Dog Ale or two!!! We'll have Indy in a Red Sox shirt before too long!

Indy is our wonderful Golden Retriever who is about 3 1/3 years old. His favorite pastime is laying on the deck in the sun with us (yes, while we have an Old Brown Dog in hand)!

My husband, Dave, and I love the Old Brown Dog Ale as well as the Porter!!!

These are my assistant brewers, Mako and Cholula, and they urge you to consider bringing up some of your "big beers" to compete in the very prestigious Great Alaska Beer and Barleywine Festival held every February here in Anchorage.  We can't get your beer up here in AK but we sure wish we could.  Thanks for posting your beers' vital statistics, not to mention the grains and hops.  Portsmouth, NH has just moved way up on my list of places to visit.
