Dear Friends – Attached please find a photo of my dog, Bob Barker. As you can see, it was his birthday. The dogs celebrated with Frosty Paws Peanut Butter Ice Cream and the people toasted Bob’s health and happiness many times over with Smuttynose ale.
My friends (Konrad, Beth and Jack the Beagle) and I were attracted to your beer because of Olive’s picture on the label – a shrewd marketing device, I must admit. Then we fell in love with your beer – and especially your Smuttynose Summer Weizen. Unfortunately, we discovered it late in the summer so we were unable, despite our best efforts, to stock up a sufficient supply to last us through the fall and winter. Fortunately for us all, you came out with the Pumpkin Ale, which is also very good.
Thanks for making a great ale, one that makes every celebration better!
