December, 2006 - Smuttynose Brewing Co. ships out its fifteen thousand and first barrel for the year (a keg of Portsmouth lager, by the way) thus graduating from "microbrewery" to "regional craft brewery" status. Front page news on the Portsmouth Herald during slow news week here on the Seacoast.
